Summary

Virgin Australia is one of Australia’s largest operating airlines, serving 42 cities nationally from hubs in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Commencing services in 2000, Virgin Australia has a rich 20 year history.

The challenge

Virgin Australia looked to improve its overall Project Management maturity and required assistance in relation to establishing a PMO including people, process, systems and practice related services.

The difference

Our Group was able to provide Virgin Australia with both the capacity and capability through a number of experienced Consultants. Our consultants provided an alternative to the larger and significantly more expensive Global Consulting houses. A quality solution was delivery at a fraction of the cost.

The solution

We partnered with Virgin Australia to establish a PMO. This included the creation of a waterfall methodology based off Prince II. It also included the roll out of Microsoft Project as a technical solution to support both Project and PMO related activities.
