Virgin Australia is one of Australia’s largest operating airlines, serving 42 cities nationally from hubs in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Commencing services in 2000, Virgin Australia has a rich 20 year history.

The Challenge

Off the back of a successful PMO implementation in 2015 and with a desire to keep abreast with best practices in terms of Project Delivery, Virgin Australia decided to embark on a journey to transform the business from a traditional Project Management environment dominated by Waterfall and Prince II into a more Agile environment. Virgin required assistance in defining processes and leading and coaching the existing Project Community on an Agile aligned new way of work.
