In 2025, Rise by Talent engaged with Avec to deliver two intensive, one-week learning modules designed to introduce a cohort of young Māori and Pasifika talent to practical skills in Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The goal was to provide a foundation of knowledge, build hands-on capability, and instil the confidence required to pursue careers in the I.T. workforce.Avec’s role encompassed designing and delivering structured training, mentoring the cohort, and facilitating opportunities for participants to present their work to senior figures in New Zealand’s Data and AI ecosystem.

Avec successfully streamlined a leading retail bank's mortgage lending processing by implementing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to automate the transfer of home loan applications from branch and broker channels into their core banking systems. The bank's goals included meeting increasing customer demand, improving application speed and accuracy, establishing a scalable IT infrastructure, and creating a Centre of Excellence (COE) to support internal delivery and future automations.

Leveraging Avec’s expertise in IT project delivery and TechnologyOne, we successfully integrated this TechnologyOne Request Management solution with Cleanaway to streamline waste service requests and customer updates.
